Official WhatsApp provider

Unecast is a verified Meta Tech Provider (WhatsApp Business Solution Provider)

Unecast gives businesses access to the official WhatsApp Business Platform through Meta's Embedded Signup, with a shared team inbox, AI agents, calling and bulk SMS on top. Often called a BSP, the role is officially a Meta Tech Provider.

What a Meta Tech Provider does

Meta approves Tech Providers, often called Business Solution Providers or BSPs, to build software on the WhatsApp Business Platform and onboard businesses to it. Unecast is operated by Bloomwire (Private) Limited in Sri Lanka and is a verified Meta Tech Provider. A business that uses Unecast gets the official WhatsApp Business API instead of a workaround.

  • Onboarding through Meta's Embedded Signup, so the WhatsApp Business Account sits in your own Meta business portfolio.
  • Message templates, number and quality management, and Meta's per-message fees billed at Meta's published rates with zero markup.
  • A shared team inbox, AI agents, WhatsApp calling, bulk SMS and cloud voice on one platform.
  • REST and SMPP APIs for developers.

How onboarding works

  1. Create your Unecast account.
  2. Connect WhatsApp with Meta's Embedded Signup: log in with Facebook and choose or create your business portfolio.
  3. Verify the phone number you want to use. It must not be active on the WhatsApp apps, or it can be moved.
  4. Set up templates and start messaging from the inbox, the API or campaigns.

Official provider vs unofficial tools

Unofficial tools automate the WhatsApp Business app or WhatsApp Web. That breaks Meta's terms and puts your number at risk of being banned. An official provider uses the WhatsApp Business Platform that Meta supports, with approved templates, a verified business profile and published pricing.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Meta Tech Provider?

A Tech Provider is a company approved by Meta to build software on the WhatsApp Business Platform and onboard businesses to it. Many people still call this role a Business Solution Provider, or BSP. Unecast is a verified Meta Tech Provider.

Is a BSP the same as a Meta Tech Provider?

In everyday use, yes. BSP is the older name for a company that gives businesses access to the official WhatsApp Business API. Meta's current term for the role is Tech Provider.

How do I sign up for the WhatsApp Business API with Unecast?

You connect your business through Meta's Embedded Signup inside Unecast. You log in with Facebook, choose or create your Meta business portfolio, verify the phone number you want to use, and approve access. Unecast then sets up templates, the team inbox and AI agents.

Does my business keep ownership of its WhatsApp number and account?

Through Meta's Embedded Signup the WhatsApp Business Account is created under your own Meta business portfolio, so your business is the account holder. Talk to us about moving an existing number.

How is an official provider different from an unofficial tool?

Unofficial tools automate the WhatsApp Business app or WhatsApp Web, which breaks Meta's terms and risks number bans. An official provider uses the WhatsApp Business Platform that Meta supports, with message templates, verified business profiles and Meta's published pricing.

How much does Unecast cost?

Plans start at $29 per month, and Meta's per-message fees are billed at Meta's published rates with zero markup. See the pricing page for plans and the WhatsApp BSP pricing comparison for how that compares with other providers.
